I am a programmer hell-bent on building things. I work on distributed(ish)-computing problems at OpenDNS. I get excited about new technology, algorithms and big datasets.

In the past…

I worked for Flickr for almost my first year out of college (at Wash U) and built the first few releases of the open-source Flickr Uploadr. Poor timing meant that I left just as the open source project was starting to get interesting. Already there have been people translating it into new languages and porting some of the useful Firefox extensions over.
